Well, we are all Gujarati’s, business is in our blood. That’s what people say. Lol, just kidding.
It all started a few years back. We have been friends since years but what got us together in the first place was our love for food. Our curiosity, to taste different dishes. It didn’t matter what cuisine it was, but if there was a new restaurant in place we would be the first to try it. All that changed when we arrived in Canada. We would try to find the same taste here and were disappointed every time. And that for a foodie is heartbreaking. It’s like losing your own self. However we didn’t loose hope. We started searching for recipes and making dishes at home. Initially it didn’t taste “very well” but things got better. Perfecting it over time was difficult but not impossible. And that’s when we thought that we should share our love for food with others too.
Inviting people to try our recipes was a good start. To be honest, we were overwhelmed by the response. Well, it was one of the seedling that made us think of opening up our own restaurant. Where everything is made from scratch and from a home made recipe. No artificial flavours or colouring added. Fresh and flavourful food exclusively for our foodies, of course!
